I just rec'd the new KC lightbar and 4 KC 6" lights but now they tell me it won't fit my 2005 with the "Sport" front bumper cover. I guess I will send it back and go with the custom speed grilles instead.
I am also getting the airbags and compressor put in tomorrow; I think they are going to take out the overload springs to drop the back about and inch or so and they say it will ride better with no load. When I hook up just push the button to air the bags up. Sounds cool to me.

I just put 2,500 miles on the new triple dog. I take back everything I said about it, I can definately feel the 130hp setting. I just had to drive differently than when the EZ was on it. I had no error codes, nothing screwy whatsoever. It hauls a$$! The MPG on the trip computer is even right.

The new Bully Dog TriDog w/ the Outlook monitor is awesome.

It will break loose the 305/50/20's from about 20mph or less on dry pavement and it is easy to use with no trouble codes at all.

The only question is how hot should I let my pre-turbo EGT get?
It came programmed to defuel at 1250 degrees but by the time it does it the outlook reads 1400+ then drops back to a lower level on the chip and cools down.

Andy, I am talking about pre-turbo temps and I get 1200 degrees in the stock mode, I wonder if yours reads post-turbo?

0-60 time I got 7.4 seconds my first try but it was 101 degrees and I was not in a real good place to test it (traffic). But it was fun as he77.

Have you figured out how to get the Hp and Tq test to work? And is it accurate?

I don't know 0-60 times, but I know I installed the EGT probe pre-turbo I don't have the outlook. I just remembered that I do have the boost elbow from the EZ still installed but from everything I've read this thing should smoke a LOT. All I get for smoke is a good black puff from idle to 1500 rpm or so. I can't make it smoke with any amount of boost whatsoever.

I only had 4800 miles on it when I stuck the EZ (on level 4) on. I had it on there for 50k+ miles and it never smoked, just a light haze that you could hardly see. I could just barely touch 1300 degrees on a long 0-90mph interstate on-ramp in town here. Pulling 9k worth of trailer I never got it over1300 degrees if I kept it under 85mph.

Now with the power pup I can't get it over 1200 on that same ramp but I haven't towed with it yet. Everything else on the truck is stock, intake, exhaust, etc.

That is very different than how mine acts. I get much higher temps and when I am level 3 or 4 a huge black cloud of smoke and incredible acceleration; level 4 is +130hp and I think level 3 is +90hp. I have not towed with it yet and my exhaust and induction are upgraded.

Yeah I put the b-dog on extreme and drove 1500 miles, pounding on it quite a bit in the past week. I couldn't get the clutch to slip, either. I don't have an FP gauge but I suppose the lift pump could be weak as someone else suggested. It doesn't sputter or do anything weird like that.

I was showing a few guys the 1/4 mile run on the Outlook and my EGT got up to 1679 degrees 15 second 1/4 with four large guys at 100 degrees a little uphill this afternoon and lots of black smoke. I got so worried I called Bully Dog and talked to them about it and they said as long as it is a quick spurt they would not worry about it but on longer runs or pulling no more than 1200 degrees should be the target. They are pretty easy to talk to you might give them a call @ 866 BullyDog. Broke the tires loose just a little with everyone aboard and 3/4 tank of fuel; you can sure tell the difference when it is just you and a little fuel my tires will just smoke.

Nachtigal,

So far we have had nothing but great customer feedback on the Power Pups and Outlook monitors on the Dodges. Most folks get the A pillar mount for the Outlook, it's color matched and bolts on and keeps your grab handle too! Call us if you have any questions on them etc.
