Brake rotors

Ok mine are warped. There is 3 different rotors made for these trucks which one is it? Where do you find the rotor casting number? Are these 4500# or 3500# axels?
Front; 4500 Lb Axle; Rotor Casting Number 99756
Front; 4500 Lb Axle; Rotor Casting Number 100353
Front; 3500 Lb Axle; 8 Stud Rotors

nothing wrong with overkill. i'd get the 4500's. i think that's what you need anyway. not sure on the casting number, but maybe try near the center around the hub bore and studs.

It's a 4500# axle for sure. I bet one is for SRW, the other for DRW.

On the removal of the rotor will it come off easy or do I need to pop out the studs?

don't know that a drw or srw would matter. i'm sure the rotors would be the same cuz with a drw you'd just have to bolt the adapter to it.

Check the sticker on the drivers door post to see which axle you have.

Don't know on the W series but on my D250, I had to press the studs out and then separate the hub from the rotor, then press it all back together.

Has anyone tried the Brembo rotors or drums? With all the talk of China made parts.. they use to be well respected on imports.

Do they even make them for our Trucks? It is getting more and more difficult to find parts for these things.

Got it done
Thanks for all the input, really wasn't that bad, while I was there I replaced my stearing gear box that was leaking sence I put on the new stearing shaft a year ago and found that the drag link was wore out and replaced that also. Almost all new parts up front now should be good for a while, Still better than truck payments................

ssbc makes drilled and slotted rotors for our trucks. you can have them for about $150 a rotor though . probably well worth it performance wise
