Read your manual (by some of the questions on here some definitely don't), don't mod a DD, and drive it.

Do a bunch of searching and reading on here to answer 99% of your questions. Each question has a 100 opinions, read up and make your own descisions.

If I had your truck, I would simply put some 33 or 35's on it since more than likely you have 4:10's for your gears which should bump up your mileage. Enjoy it, I kinda wish I had an 04 instead of my 05.

My best advice is to use the search function in these forums. There is tons of information to review for just about any question you have.

I would highly recommend the flash for high idle control using the cruise buttons. Are you able to lockout overdrive when towing?(On my 05, I had to have this flash- I don't know if it was the same onthe 04.5??) I added non restrictive mufflers on both my 03 and 05- lower egt's when towing.

I have not towed with it yet. When I test drove it I put it in towhaul mode and it seem to do what it was suppose to do. It seem to lockup like my Excursion does when I put it in towhaul mode.

What is the high idle used for on the truck?

Thanks, Jeremy
