Bilstein Shocks
Well I got the front Bilsteins installed last weekend. They are the 5100 series so do cover the 1-1/2" lift/level that is so popular with members here. They were a bugger to install, skinned my hands and invented new swear words that I must send to Oxford dictionary . I did the front left first (worst one) and even with a penetrating oil presoak the day before things were tight. The ride is way better though (even with just fronts installed) as it does not dive into a large rut across the road like with the stockers. Seems a little softer than the stockers but hard to tell. Overall a big improvement. Rears this easter weekend.

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
Glad you got em swapped. I'm like you in that I've only got the fronts switched out to the 5100s. I like the difference too. They're still firm in low speed stuff like the stockers, but where they shine is the moderate to higher speed stuff. The truck is much more sure-footed. I guess it rebounds better. Truck feels like an athlete on young springy legs instead of an old worn out NFL lineman with bad knees.
