I know we just had a similar topic, but I am interested in what folks like the best for a muffler on a 4 inch system (complete w/downpipe and no cat)<br><br>I have a JRE 4&quot; with no cat OR muffler right now, but want to maybe (don't shoot me) quiet it down a little... I still really want that sweet &quot;Whooshhhhh&quot; sound when I rev it up though... I have the stock 4&quot; Janettey muffler, I may just put that back on. <br><br>Suggestions?<br>

If it's to loud, your to old. I've got a 4&quot; straight thru RV muffler that came with my exhaust sitting in my garage. You want it?

 

My suggestion would be to get the MagnaFlow muffler. It'll make your truck sound great and you won't have that annoying (IMO) drone. Just my $.02

 

How about the 4&quot; Janettey straight-through muffler in reverse? Anyone try that?

We have our muffler and it has the factory style hangers already welded on it so the install is a snap. Sound levels and tone are real nice as well.
