Exclamation Banks Introducing Box In Next Few Days

Just got a call from a sales rep at Banks. I had inquired about pricing on an exhaust system. I told him I wasn't ready to buy because I had a TST PowerMaxCR on order and it wasn't going to be available until the end of the month.

He said that their engineering dept. was going to be introducing their box for the 03 Cummins in the next few days. They have, according to him, been in development for a very lond time and were confident that they would "out do" all of the competition. He said the only delay was getting the final wiring harness worked out.

He kind of ****** me of because he had no details about HP or torque, did not know how they achieved the additional HP or Torque, and kept saying that it will be the best on the market. He said that the engineering dept is very "hush hush" at Banks so he didn't have the details. He is supposed to go to a one day training session as soon as they release the box. He said he would call me back with the details. He did tell me that they had big gains with the Dura-Max. I responded that means nothing in contrast to the Cummins.

Anyway, I told him to do his homework on TST and Edge before his training session. Told him to find out If it is Fueling, Timing, Boost...

I'll post back when I hear back from him. He said within a week...

Forgot one more thing. No Gauges integrated into the box and he said six stages of power increase.

Wow! Don't hold back, really tell us how you feel. Seriously, do you think that all the "guys in the forums" are lying to us? I'm sorry about your bad experience, but I think that your generalization is a bit broad.

What is really a laugh is that everyone is mad at Edge because they are not giving out any info about their box. And praising how TST got theirs out first. Ya right they are just the first to take orders for a product that they don't even have yet, but they seems to be OK with that now that they have given them their money, LOL

I am just going to hold out for the Edge, I think it will be the best end product. And heck it may even be out before the TST the way their things are looking

tst has not shipped, banks is close, edge who knows, they fineall got smart and shut their collective mouths when they realized out next month is now 12 months old and was begining to hurt their reputation. tst had wiring problems and threw another code just when they thought they had it licked and trying to pin it down again we must all be patient. banks will combo pressure, timing, and duration. all will be good boxeswhen they arrive. in defense of all three, we, the forum users have been impatiently waiting for the 3rd gen boxes. our trucks top all others. lets don't let the performance boxes screw them up by rushing the developers. when they are right, they will be released.

I called Banks a few times since tthey are local to me. the price of their monster exhaust with instalation was more than I paid for a 4inch exhaust, Edge EZ, and AFE filter system.....I can only imagine how much their power box is going to cost.....

No thanks on Banks

Power module

We expect to see both the Banks Six-Gun and Edge Juice with Attitude very soon to be released. Banks has already release the Six-Gun for the Duramax and it is our understanding at this time that both the Banks and Edge products will work similar to the Duramax products from both companies. This should mean that they will effect duration, timing and fuel pressure to achieve the different power levels. As these units become available we will be providing information on our website.

I am guessing that the Edge Juice will NOT raise the pressure. I say this because they have verified that you can stack the Juice with the EZ. The EZ a pressure box, so if the Juice increased pressure their would be no use in stacking them.

What we have been told from both Banks and Edge is that these boxes will effect duration timing and limited pressure in the higher power levels. Most of the performance should come from duration and timing.

I wonder if these boxes are the same, only with different wrapping paper on them.
