Arthritis pain?

Anybody have it? What does it feel like? Especially in hip and knee.
I went to the Dr. today with hip pain and knee discomfort, he thinks maybe arthritis. Had x-rays taken (not at Dr.s office),will know more later in the week.
Just wondering if anyone here had experience with it. Thanks

I occasionally get pain on my right hand from the center of my wrist, down each carpal to the knuckle.

I don't know if that would be qualified as carpal tunnel, arthritis or rare-I'm-going-to-loose-my-hand-disease, but I should probably get it looked at.

Every few days it'll be noticable for a few hours; what's really bad is if I sleep with weight on it or holding onto a pillow, then I wake up and it's nearly unbearable for 5-10 minutes or so.

I better have a secretary by the time I'm 25, or I don't think I'll get much typing out the door...

i dont have arthritis, but do have knee, ankle, and hip discomfort from heavy lifting. i take 1500 mg glucosamine and 1500mg of MSM once or twice a day.
i also take fish oils(flax) 2000mg twice a day.
these supplements can be found at walmart for under $20. they are all natural substances and they help alot. the fish oils reduce inflammation and the other two help rebuild cartilage in the joints. might want to ask your Dr about them, see if he recommends them.
i really notice if i dont take them and stay on my feet all day.
just a suggestion.

I have it in my knees and hips as well. Take an anti-inflammatory like Motrin to help. Remember to eat when you take them, they are hard on your stomach.
