Ack! What Happened To My Smarty?

Nothing wrong per say, just when I loaded their latest program into my truck, the April update, man, it sure smokes ALOT, coming away from lights it leaves a haze, and when I get on it, black cloud! Only on level 1! Runs real good, VERY strong, but I wonder what "version" I got, I don't know where to look, it's the 4/12 update. I had the March update in before which got me 15.8 mpg towing a car trailer with a '65 Cutlass on it 520 miles (the modified inj/stock turbo since mine seems to rattle more than normal), I think I boo booed something here. I still have that version in my computer, maybe I should load it back in? Like I said, nothing wrong with it, just the smoke.......

For less smoke you might want to try the aftermarket injector program.

Give us the results mickey, is the 4.4 everything I here it is? More power, less smoke, just all around better than any of the other DL's? Did it affect your mileage?

I can tell you the beta 4.4 is smoooth. Still smokey but clears up quickly when the boost comes up, and it comes up fast. No mileage report yet, still on the first tank. But so far it appears to be about the same as the previous versions for around town driving.
Was running at level 5 and feels more powerful than the previous released version. But the torque management is on the moderate to wild side so I drop down to level 3 to reduce the driveline shock.

Can't wait for Marco to release the mild TM version. That would be perfect.

I did that today, and I'll tell you something else I noticed, when I have my foot in it, it chirps the tires into 2nd gear which I like. I loaded the aftermarket injector program and it's quiet again, still left my Roktek out, and the smoke is there, not as bad until the turbo comes up and it's pretty much a haze.

so does the beta have different programs for different setups like the rest of the downloads. Or is it all the same beta that everyone is using. Im just curious if the 4.4 will work out with my current setup.
