3rd generation crankcase breather.....

The second gen. have the puke bottle, the 3rd gen. have a crankcase breather. Was the breather an improvement? Is it adaptable to the second gen. truck, and if so how/where does it fit/attach?

Don't beleive is adaptable. The longer tube works well.
