Re:03 High Output Description
If you break loose the tires stock going into 3rd gear and you don't have it to the floor yet, assuming it is stock and its an 03! then its an HO.
Sorry best I could do.

You can check the engine tag, should be on the front of the engine, near the injection pump, if it's in the same place as the 2nd gen's.
You could also check the VIN.
Fritz's site has a VIN decoder, not sure if he has the 3rd gens up yet.

About 6 months ago, Dave Fritz split his site up into two different sites.
Yes, Dodgeram.org and Dodgeram.info both work.
I think the .org is the main site, some of the links now point to the .info site.

regarding breaking the tires loose.... mine will not do that! all it will do is hook-up and pin you back, however if the pavemant is wet mine will break em loose at will, almost even in 4th!

I dont have mine yet, but have heard from many that there is a label inside the glove box that lists all the specs of your truck....

Re:03 High Output Description
Regarding the label...I have one on the Engine and in the Glove Box. The Glove box also lists things like the Axle ratio and the Anti-Spin option.
As for breaking the tires loose, mine grip pretty well on dry pavement too like another member was saying. But when it rains out, sometimes I have to pop it in 4WD to launch quickly off a light. When the ground is wet, you can easily spin the tires while the truck is moving...talk about massive torque!

Re:03 High Output Description
Just to make things a bit more confusing.
Some 03 motors have the ID tag mounted on the front of the throttle body. My first, very early production, 03 had it there.
Some 03's, including my current, very late production date of July, have a sticker on the side of the valve cover. Reference a pic posted in this thread.
