No power at fuel pump

Two days ago I was driving when suddenly I lost all power. The truck re-started a few times, but it go harder and harder. Luckily I was only a mile from home and it was downhill so I coasted home. I soon realized that my fuel pump (FASS HPFP-95) is getting no power. I then by-passed the wiring of the pump's wiring and relay to see if the pump would run with power going directly to it, sure enough it ran just fine. So I then replaced the relay thinking I would be up and running, but still nothing. I am getting a code of 0629, high voltage at fuel pump. I have been searching endlessly for a short or bad connection somewhere but have found nothing yet. Any help as soon as possible would be much appreciated.

Check the fuel pump ground...if the code is accurate, the ground may be the cuplrit.

Just a shot in the dark.

Ended up talking with tech support at fass, they recommended that i just by-pass the pcm (ecm) by cutting the hot wire that goes to it, and re-routing it directly to the fuse box to a spare fuse and put in a 30amp fuse, did it and it all works fine. i suspect that the pcm is being thrown off track by a short somewhere (perhaps at the infamous ac compressor wire that does not have wire loom on it, which i cannot get to due to the fact that the harness is stuck together)
