Removing front driveshaft
What's the secret to unsticking the flanges at the Tcase end? Bolts are all removed on both ends. I figured the thing was going to fall and smash me in the head. At this point, I kinda wish it would, it would be out.
I sprayed PB Blaster on the flanges and the bolts before removing them. Maybe needs some more?

Reason I say that is if for whatever reason there is a driveline bind, it can make it not let go. I about killed myself one time removing the front shaft on a Jeep that had 2 different gear ratios ( I didn't know, customer vehicle ), and it bounced off my chest like a sledgehammer.
Anyway, it might be slightly stuck where the flange pilots off the yoke, but a light tap from a hammer should break it loose. If that doesn't do it i would jack the front end up and make sure there isn't any tension built up from front to rear.

Yup, it's out of the front yoke. Those "waffles" came out pretty easy actually. The Dshaft seemed to be at rest at a slightly shorter length than when bolted in.
While I'm here I'll be replacing those Torx bolts with some Hex bolts from Fastenal.
I don't like that I found some play in the tcase output shaft.

Got it.
Put a ratchet strap arounf the front axle to the yoke ears closest to the tcase. Put a little tension on it. Then inserted the bolts from the rear of the flange, screwed them down enough I got a 1/4" impact driver on them. The vibration broke loose the flange enough I tapped in a flathead screwdriver to free it the rest of the way.
