Blinky "Low Fuel" light
Just got back from a thousand mile trip, and I noticed that my low fuel light seems to blink a lot more than it used to. It used to come on solid and stay on once it came on. Now it just blinks with fuel sloshing around in the tank when I get down to the magic 23 gallon mark. I also noticed that my fuel gauge seems to bounce more than it used to with fuel movement. Is there some buffer on the fuel gauge circuit that's not working for me now?

I think there is a little check valve through the fuel strainer or whatever that allows diesel in, but won't let it out. I can't remember if the sensor is in there or not... but if that check valve isn't working, fuel will go in and then back out through that hole as it sloshed. Just a guess.... Look at one of the draw straw or bigger fuel line posts in the sticky and you'll see pictures of the assembly...
