Gonna be going up to Crandall just outside of Dallas for the Texas Diesel Roundup the weekend of October 9th will head up on that friday mid day and will be heading home sunday... think the wife and i will be staying in the Best Western Plus in the town of Forney about 25 mins outside of Crandall looks like the nicest hotel in the area.....

i will Dyno and maybe race but i won't be that fast so racing maybe a lost cause. i am hoping to him 600 dyno by then. trying to get a cam, springs, pushrods, and studs in before then but only have a little over two weeks.

 

You don't have to be fast to race in the ET brackets. Just run consistently. You can "win" with a 20 second time sheet if you can do it consistently.


Im trying to decide whether or not to bring the RV and camp in the parking lot, if they will let us.

yeah i could win IF i could run consistently but i can't hand shacker and i just got in a short shifter and haven't been able to even drive it yet let alone race with it. i just want to test and tune friday night dyno and watch everyone else run their stuff. my luck i would break my truck and i just sold my 01 so down to only two trucks again..... we'll see how friday night goes.

 

only a few days away who all is planning on going? and who wants to meet up and convoy up there. the wife and i will be leaving here around 12 or 1 so that we can get checked in at our hotel we are staying in forney which is about 15 or 20 mins north west of Crandall. anyway let me know if yall want to meet and leave together and we will set a place and time.
