Wiring Harness for In-bed 7-pin trailer connector
Does a 2009 Dodge 3500 dually with factory tow hitch and 7-pin trailer connector (on the bumper) also have the wiring harness provided to connect to another 7-pin trailer connector for mounting in the bed for 5th wheel or camper use? If so, is that wiring buried underneath somewhere?
Thanks vzarich! I have looked at those and I will go that route, unless there is a factory harness tucked away somewhere. I have seen and used such a harness that was tucked away on some GM trucks, but I can't seem to find any info on whether Dodge provides this or not.

If you don't want to worry about that connection coming loose or some idiot pulling it loose at a rest stop, buy the plug with pigtails. Go underneath at the rear and solder the pigs into the original wiring - - no worries about coming loose. Easy done.
