wiring Generator thru trailer wall & breaker box?

got an enclosed trailer.

got a generator i never use.

the local drag strip runs 6 to midnite to avoid the heat of the day.

Northern tool has a pass thru bulkhead connector that is $49 by itself.

what's best way to hook up a generator?
use 2 or 3 of the 120v outlets?
or use the 240v outlet of the generator, and convert it into 120 in the breaker box?

does the generator perform filtering from the 240 to the 120 that would limit the current capacity of the 120v outlets?

the 120v outlets are all 20 amp.

i keep a regular old night lite in one of them, makes it easy to work on it when it dies, instead of digging for a flash lite.

was gonna run a circuit down each side, and a breaker for each side.

use plastic conduit.

what else am i missing?

use the 120/220v gen outlet and a 120/220v 1 phase breaker box inside. split your load evenly on the breaker buss. Generator will only control max amperage of the gen outlet(20a,30a ect) interior breakers will control individual circuit ratings.
