Whete to find 8R 19.5's

Is there a place online that I can find/compare prices on 8R 19.5 tires? They are for my FIL's '49 Chevy. I have had no luck.

maybe www.ricksontruck.com - i would think 225 or 245/70/19.5 might be more common/easier to find. I would use Rickson's prices just as a guideline - you might find them cheaper at a local truck tire place. Maybe www.retread.org for a list of distributors.

Sorry, should have mentioned that I've been to Rickson. The 8R's are narrower and taller than a 225. The tires on the truck are 7x18's(about 34" tall). They are on split rims with tubes. We want to move to regular rims to have ease of replacement.

There is very little wiggle room for a wider tire in the rear due to leaf spring clearance and due to fender clearence in the front.

Any dealer that sells Cooper tires would have or can get them. just got some for about $200 each.

Color me an idiot[dummy] on the Rickson comment. I just saw that they do have 8R's. I'd still like to be able to compare.
