take the negative battery cable off and put a test light in between the neg battery cable and the neg battery lug...if the test light lights up you have a draw......to find the draw start pulling fuses till the test light goes out...when it does, that is the part that is causing the draw

clear as mud???

I use a battery shut off quick-disconnect on all my vehilces/RV's that I don't operate on a daily basis.

Good advice on the previous posts. However, all RV's will give a slow drain. Gas detectors, tv's, monitors all pull a small amount of power. I would be interested to see how long a charge lasts in your battery when it is disconnected. You may be looking for a drain when the battery is really shot.

Absolutely get a battery disconnect.

Did you open the battery caps and see if it was full of water. If the lead plates are exposed your battery will not hold a charge. Fill battery with distilled water if needed and see how long you can hold charge.

One of two things: Either something is drawing from the trailer, or an internal fault in the battery is causing it to self-discharge.

You could pull the fuses for the LP detector and carbon monoxide detector, and take an ohm meter reading from the trailer's battery cables (with the battery unhooked). You could also jump in an amp meter when everything is shut off. If it's something in the trailer killing fully charged batteries that quickly, the draw would be pretty significant.

Alternately, you could remove the battery and bring it up to full charge with a stand alone charger, unhook it and see where it's at in a few days.

thanks, will test for draw with the test light between neg and battery post will pull co2 detecor out as not to give false reading. Battery is new and holds up fine for over 2 weeks when not connected at least thats the longest i had left it and it still had a full charge

One of the most overlooked draws on trailer batterys is the heat strip built into the door seals on a dometic fridge. There is a switch some where near the freezer door to turn it off. It is used to remove the moisture build up during humid weather. They will take out a weak battery in no time at all. On my rv there is a 1/2 amp load with everything turned off. It is all the monitoring systems that is on all the appliances. Only way to stop it is a Battery Disconnect switch.
