Any RV trailer/camper place.
Harbor Freight has them too.

Thanks for the suggestion.. I have put a hydralic 8 ton axle jack under the trailer jack and it was easy to pump it up. I could see and hear it take weight off the bed of my truck. As it is not attached to anything, IF I happened to drive off and forget it, nothing really bad should happen, at least to my trailer. I am parked now for a day or two so that should work for a day or so.

Thanks for all the suggestions... I am hoping to upgrade to a newer and bigger trailer with an electric jack but the **** economy and work has not been on my side!!!

Glad we could be of service I figured the hydraulic jack would work for you.. If you feel a thud when you drive away pull ahead the length of your trailer and go back to pick up your jack .

This is what I use to line up with, I place it in front of the GN Ball when it starts to tip your there:

The tennis ball magnets:

I put the tennis ball right in front of the gooseneck ball. Wen it falls over, I am **** close. Sometimes have to pull forward an inch or so but usually close enough to slide the hitch onto the ball. This is my first gooseneck and I have some learning curves... so to speak... dent in top of tailgate, scrap down each side of the trailer... glad it was not a new one!!!

not sure about getting a new jack installed as prefer to get an updated trailer... ie new aluminum horse trailer.. but another travel nurse is considering converting her tow hauler to horse trailer... she can park at RV parks but most RV parks don't like RV horse trailers.... let alone older models.... : ((

Some RV parks in WA state are $550 a month!!! yikes..

I have learned to find places to 'park' one night at a time....
lol

That's what I like about the GN Flatbeds the 3/8 x 2 1/2" rub rails are rugged - a can of touch up paint and I'm covered .. Check out the trailer salvage yards as well. Sometimes you can find some good deals there..
