Route Suggestions

So... I may be headin from NC to a job in El Centro, CA.
I will more than likely be towin my new Jayco.
I've been down I40 many times for jobs in Flag.
I'm interested in oppinions if I20/10 further South would be better.
I 40 would run me by the house first, is wide open most of the way, but I'm interested in opinions btw the two. I would head south at ABQ.

Thanks

One route: 40W-17S-10E-8W

Yes, 10E...for ~45 miles to get to I-8W will put you right in the middle of beautiful downtown el-centro!

Better road if you take 25 from 40 in Albq.,but you will save 100 miles if you take 84 down from Santa Rosa. Road is ok, but only two way most of the time.

As a retired steering wheel holder that is the way I always ran like stated above. I-40-I-30-I-20 I-10 I-8

GOOD LUCK.

Thanks Folks.
I'll prolly make it up as I go and by what RV parks I can locate along the routes B4 I head out.

I was in Flag off n on for about 3yrs and 17S is a good route, but the drive from ABQ to there is a pain and I have friends in Socorro on 25. It's not a bad road.

I've yet to run thru that part of TX and really want to see it, but not sure the availability of RV parks along the way. Not many on 40 to FLG.

I did consider the route thru MS and S from Little Rock. I tink I made that run once while driving truck.

This will be our first trip with our Jayco. Were going from one project clear accross to the other then back a couple months later. May/June-July in El Centro, we'll prolly be the only ones in an RV Park
