rear axel ratio

just picked up a 2500 2005 and the dealer says it has a 3.73 but on the sticker for axel ratio it has 11.50?? what does that mean??
my old dodge had 3.73 and this feels like it may be 4.10...
does anyone know what the 11.50 is?? i cant find anything on the web ..
thanks...

you have an 11.50 AAM rear axle, that is the size, not the ratio. Ratio should be on a tag on the rear axle housing

you can call the dealer, and they will be able to tell you, generally using the last 6 of your VIN . This is also important when ordering stock replacement parts through the dealer network

good luck

It's also on the label inside the glove compartment. ..The conventional glove compartment on the right, passenger side.

Unless otherwise specified, the ratio is 3.73.
