Nice RV - I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
Not sure where you plan on RV'ing, but you may want to consider a generator if you don't already have one. That single battery won't run you 12 VDC appliances (pumps, heater, etc.) and lights for too long - and you'll need a genset if you want to use the aircon when you're dry camping.
Have fun!

Basically I'm going to buy the EU2000iA and the EU2000iA Companion aswell as the Parallel Cables. This will allow me to obtain 4000 watts to run everything in the trailer while dry camping.

The whole point of the TT was to keep the family cool in the Summer, and warm all other times - so the generators are a must for us.

Drove from Canton, Georgia to Elkhart, Indiana to pick this one up! Its a 38foot Big Country weighing in at 13,000lbs! We bought this to travel the U.S. with the 2 kids and the dog. We stayed at Indiana Dunes for a couple days and then came home. I have a new found respect for what my megacab dually can do. I have the Smarty Jr. with 5" Tbe and deletes. Managed 11.3mpg hauling it home through the Smokey mountains and 21.0mpg running up to get it!

Chris, that is just massive! And nice! I see the need for space, with 2 kids and a wife. I am looking forward (kinda scared) to take the family camping with just the truck camper.

Chris, are you using a slider hitch? I have a megacab and we are looking at fifth wheels. I was contemplating getting a slider.

I did a month cross country over the summer and it was unreal! The western US is soooo gorgeous! Where do you plan on going? Enjoy the trip and stay safe.

I bought the Pullrite Superglide 18k hitch. The trailer we bought supposedly doesnt need a slider but we dont want to take any chances. We are really looking forward to the west side of the US. We are going up through Maine, then over the top of the US through Montana down through Oregon and Washington, over through Yellowstone and then back around through Colorado and so on. We set aside a full year for this!

Cool you will be heading up my way to start out. When you in Montana check out Glacier National! Going to the sun road is amazing and it something you can easily do in a day. Utah(Up through a hill) is another awesome state to check out...lots of grades but awesome!
