Look what showed up in my driveway :)

My new 2009 Keystone Raptor 299MP toyhauler was delivered Friday at 0800 hours from RVWholesalers in Ohio. At 1500 hours, my wife and I set out for 3 nights/4 days of camping/ATV'ing. First ever 5'ver. Wish I would have bought one sooner, was a blast.

[laugh]
Yeah, I guess I should have said it showed up at the end of my driveway.
There is one queen bed up front, and 2 queen beds that drop out of the ceiling in the garage, plus the dinette folds out to a decent size bed. Could probably sleep 7 comfortably. The living area has a slide but wouldn't fit those same 7 comfortably. The garage is walled off from the living area (in some toyhaulers the garage becomes part of the living area when the toys are rolled out).

Nice looking! I'm taking mine out this Friday. Looks like you might be flipping the axles on the 5th wheel pretty soon. Or is the landing gear holding it that high?

hotdram 05-26-2009 12:16 AM

The landing gear is holding it up in that pic. It does sit a little nose high, but not bad. The axles are already flipped (came that way from the factory).

Well, I've only owned mine for less than a year, and I have NO regrets getting it. I can't wait to take it out. I plan on racking lots of miles on it too. Does yours have the seperate garage too?

hotdram 05-26-2009 12:32 AM

Yep,
8 x 10. Should fit my 800 and 400 Polaris Sportsman in without a problem. Just brought the 400 this weekend, as the 800 is down for repairs.
Will be tight, but shouldn't be a problem (with stock tires).

Mine is the same size. But I only keep my grill, table, chairs, tools, and other junk back there haha. You can't go wrong with a seperate garage.

The guy who owned mine before I bought it towed a car hauler too because he couldn't fit all his "toys" in the garage. But 8x10 is enough room for 2 atv's.

Looks nice, congratulation.

That looks like alot of fun. Have you gotten a total wieght of everything loaded up yet?

NDanecker 05-26-2009 07:02 PM

That does look sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been pushing the Mrs. to get one for a few years now. Maybe Santa will tow one in behind his sled this year! [coffee]

Thanks for the comments ya'll.
No weight yet, need to get my 800 running and loaded with the 400, then put water and fuel in it :)
The dry weight is 10,000. Supposed to be able to put about 4,000 lbs of stuff in it. By the sticker, my truck is rated at 13,500 lbs. I'm guessing with the ATV's and 25 gallons of fuel in the tank, plus our gear it will be around 12-12.5

Is it available the weekend of June 13th? I'd like to book a reservation. [laugh]
