Load Range G tires

I had to get an new tire for my stock trailer today, and they had two load range G tires left. I got both of them, and I want to put both of them on, but I'm not sure which place is best for them. It's a 3 axle 28 foot stock trailer. Which axle do y'all think is the best to put them on. The other tires are E rated.

It shoud not matter, I generally have a mix on my trailer. I guess that if you handle rough pot holes or some effect like that, the stronger tires would do better on the front axle.

That's what I was thinking, but then I thought that the rear most tires probably have to carry more weight than the front most tire. What do you think? I might be thinking too much.

Not knowing what type of axles you have I can just state that if the trailer is sitting anyway near level and the has an equalization built into the axles, they should get just about the same weight on each tire. I have torson axles and in theroy they do not equalize, but they carry about even with a slight rear rake to the trailer.

Re:Load Range G tires

Well, I put them on the front, mostly because i can jack the trailer up high enough to get the front wheels off the ground without a floorjack. I think they would be better in front taking on holes and such than being on back, even if the back ones carry a little more weight, which i'm not sure if they do or not. If they do, I would doubt that it would be much more than the others anyway. Maybe next time we sell some calves i'll have some extra $$ to put 4 more G's on.

$79 each, but that's just a hair over wholesale. The tire guy and I are good friends. I would expect they'd be around $90+ or so. They are Westlake brand. Never heard of it, but they seem to be good.
