I mean i think i like it cause i can play when im not working lol, My dad said the same thing about the dually so im gonna start looking for one of them

Ha yes for sure, I know that truck will more then pull it, its just to much of a risk with no dual rear wheels, I found a daully in my price range in Penscola, Now i need someone that lives up near there to take a peek at it,

Im in seffner fl, If your in lakeland, your not really much closer lol

Yeah I agree with getting a dually. A dually is probably still too light for a 4 car trailer, but much better than that 2500 would be with its lift kit and aftermarket wheels that have who-knows-what for a weight rating.

All the guys on the hot shot board run 4 cars with dodges, It handles it pretty well as long as you load the cars right

5.9diesel 09-29-2009 10:39 PM

Yeah man if it was in naples i'd go myself but penscola is where it is, and its 6 and a half hours from my house, round trip, I wanna go up and bring the truck home, Not go up and look, drive back up 2 days later to buy it, and i dont really like the whole sight unseen stuff, I know theirs guys somewhere on this board around that area

If the truck is what you are looking for, that drive is nothing. I've driven almost that far looking at a boat. It was a good deal, but not exactly what I was looking for. Boat sold 2 hours after I looked at it.

Yeah man i hear that

from my experience on towing any weight near or over the trucks max capacity is no fun when its long distance...do it right the 1st time, get a 3500 long bed and make it a dually..pulling a trailer at about 15k to 20k and with a 15 to 25% pin weight is a bit to much for the rear tires..the truck is going to be your money maker so it's gota work just right for you........

If you decide to haul those cars, be sure you tag your truck for your increased GVW. FL DOT apparently don't care about anything but that judging
by the number of 1 ton haulers with car trailers.
