I know obviously that we have the round outlet for tow harness hook-up from the factory, but did they hide a flat style behind the rear bumper anywhere or should I just pick up an adapter from round to flat? It's for lighting when no trailer is hooked up.

My 2002 has both the Pollack 7-pin and the flat 4-pin connectors at the receiver. The 4-pin is sorta hanging from the harness going into the 7-pin.

Was it there from the factory? Or did you have an aftermarket tow installed?

My 7 pin is in the bumper and yes the 4 flat is hanging behind the bumper. Mine is factory OEM.

It's part of the factory trailer towing package.

I dident know it was there so i bought an adapter and then a year or two latter a buddie found it. Oh well. I have only towed a trailer with the flat 4 once. Everything I pull is either 6 or 7 round so I guess its no big deal.
