I-80 Toll Road

I'm moving out to Michigan from Colorado and will be taking I-80 (towing our camry and other items.)

My question is does anyone know how much the toll will be or where I could find out??

I think I need to start getting my quarters together

Anyone made this trip and have some advice?

There will be very little tolls unless you are moving to the very bottom of the state. Mostly along I-94 not I-80.
If you are traveling along the Indiana toll road and Ohio Turnpike I would guess that it will be around $25, split between the two states. That would be the whole state of Indiana and only up to Toledo, Ohio. The tolls in OH are weight specific.
Google Indiana Toll road rate schedule as well as the Pike to get your info.
I drive a truck to Cleveland OH every day from Detroit and for 110 miles it is typically only about $10-$12 one way. Indiana is about the same I believe.

Good Luck, Jerry.

Depends on where you go up into Michigan. There is one toll in IL about 10 miles before Indiana. Then if you stay on I94 and go into Michigan on the west side by Lake Michigan there are no tolls. If you go across Indiana on 80 (Indiana Tollroad) there will be tolls. Here is a link .

I'll just be following the direction from google map from 80130 to 49507. Does that help with the question? Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Very little, if any, tolls. It's been a long time since I drove through that portion of IL to be sure, but any toll would be minimal. Less than $5.00.
I-80 will junction w/ I-94 in IL. About 20 miles after that, they will split and I-94 will continue towards MI. Stay on I-94. At exit 34, take I-196 towards Holland and Grand Rapids. Now you are on your own since I don't have an actual address, but your question has been answered as best as I can.
Drive Safely...Welcome to MI. Now get an ATV and join me on some rides!!!

I used to live in MI for the last few years....49507 is in the Grand Rapids area, so the only toll you will be dealing with on I-80 is the last bit of the IL tollway (I-294). Last time I went through there I think it ran me about $3.00 or something like that, cant remember (I have the EZ Pass toll tag so mightve been a little less).

Like the other poster mentioned, take I-94 into MI and then I-196.....196 will take you right into Grand Rapids. I do agree about the roads there, alot of them need alot of work. And, expect to see alot of orange barrels once you get there. I was in MI about a month ago and they are doing road work right in the Jenison area on 196 so be wary when traveling there in the daytime.

There is one toll on your route. Its 60 cents for a car or truck I think. 30cents per axles but that may have went up. I have the Ipass so I don't keep track. Just stick with 94 all the way up into MI.
