How-bout Tire Chains?
What brand/type/etc Tire chains do you like?
I have Brand new BFG's 285/75/16 on one truck(CTD) and BFGs 35x12.5x16.5 on my old chevy
Researched some Brands of chains on the internet. The local Four Wheel Parts place only has Security Chain Quick Grip Brand(???).
I see some brands have a "V" lug welded on.

My bias is if I have to put on chains on my 4x4, which has really good snow tires on all wheels, then the conditions are really bad (deep wet snow or rain on top of ice, so I want a chain that will give me really good traction. That means I’m looking for cross-bar reinforced or v-bar chains. Most cable or plastic chains are worthless. Low profile or square link diamond chains run smoother on pavement, but are not as effective if dealing with deep, wet snow.
If you want them to last, buy ones made from larger diameter chain.
Cams on the outside chain make tightening chains easier. Still use the elastomeric or spring tighteners as well.
Links for chains on the net. I’ve ordered from the first two. Some have chain for a dually (dual triples), offset ladder dual triples run smoother.

I have chains for my truck and have used them a number of times. Best advice is keep them clean and rust free. Also you need a bungee cord on the outside to keep the latch latched.
I have an 18 inch 2 x 6 that has a 45 on each end. I use this as a ramp for the inside duals to go up on. Then the chains are a piece of cake to put on.
