Heaviest Load hauled?
Seems like Dodge guys always have the big loads that I see headed down the roads. What are the heaviest loads you have hauled?

ive not really hauled anything too heavy.
id say the heaviest load ive hauled is either the 25' gooser and a k20 chevy on it or my three horse slant load trailer full of horses and gear.

I've hit 44,500 gross while hauling hay out of the field. Never gone more than 20 miles at that weight though. Here are some pics when I was grossing pretty light, upper 20's to a little over 30k gross.

The heaviest I've hauled so far is 23 round bales on a 40' straight deck. So bales totaled about 25,300 for an average of 1100/bale. And trailer weighs 9800 empty, grand total of 35,100....not including truck. Only hauled 30 miles.
I do have one question regarding this whole weight thing. I've seen it somewhere but can't find it. How do you figure how much weight is actually on your truck. I know a certain % of load weight is on the front of the trailer, isn't it like 60%? And then there's a certain % of the 60% that is how much is on the tongue of the trailer, is it 35% of the 60%, and that's what's actually on your truck? Anyone heard this before, or are those the wrong numbers?
