haul through Florida

I just got back from a 1700 mile trip from New Orleans to Ft Lauderdale and back. 12 hours there, 13 back. Left Wednesday morning, back Thursday night. A friend of mine bought a boat and needed someone to go get it. First real long tow with the truck. Didn't even know I had a boat behind me for the most part. I love the turnpike. Other states should take note of the highway system in Florida. Notice how the Interstates go AROUND the major cities? Solves a lot of traffice problems.

Does Florida give out toll tickets and you pay so much to get off on the exit you need (like the NJ turnpike), or do you have to pay a dollar at the toll booths every few miles?

It does both. There's one long section that hands out tickets. I think it was $23 from Wildwood to Fla City last year. Oh, and it's an additional $15 for the trailer, depending on the number of axles.
