Gooseneck Trailer Which Brand

For the past few weeks I've been looking to buy a 10 ton tandem dual gooseneck trailer and can't decide on which one to buy. I've got prices delivered from Texas for about the same as I can drive 3-4 hours into PA for. Buying in NY is out of the question because they are over $1000.00 more. I am currently looking at a PJ 30 foot low profile with AL KO axles. All I know is DEXTER for axles. Has anyone ever heard of AL KO and are they any good.

Well for starters PJ is a good brand. Im not sure AL KO is, but dexter are the best I.M.O. Make sure you get the low-pro like you said, it'll save your back and so much more.. If your gonna leave heavy loads on the trailer, look at 2 speed jacks [roll]

Try looking at H&H trailers. I bought a 30' GN from them last year and I just love it!

Appalachian Trailers in Ohio seems to work pretty well. There is a picture of one in my gallery.

Another good trailer mf. is Trail Master, I've bought all our trailers from them. I currently bought a 40' low pro, led lights, slide out ramps, torque tube, 1 extra foot axle spacing...so axle to axle is 5' instead of 4, and a track bar with 10 4" ratchet straps. I was able to get it about $1800 less than most all the competition, and most of the stuff came standard with this trailer, and I had to add to the other ones. I'm not sure about shipping where you are though, but if you're interested I can shoot you over the phone number to call.

Apache trailers are excellent built, bought a 40 foot with 12000 pound axles and load it with 23 round bales of hay weighing in at about 33000 pounds and never any problems.

Kraftsman trailers in Ramseur, NC. Excellent quality and they will work with you. We have a 10 ton and love it.
