If anyone has insight into an aux tank that fits UNDER the bed, please shout. I know of some (e.g. SuperTank), but apparently it hangs 3 in under the frame and that's no good for a 4x4.
09621 check out rds aluminum. They are sold thru northerntool mostly, but you can buy direct as well. I have a 51 gal aux tank/toolbox combo that with installation cost me about $520. Transferflow has some nice options but way too many electronic gimmicks/gizmos for my taste, and they are way expensive. I prefer a simple ball valve and to gravity feed into the main tank. For all of you out there that are uninformed, gravity feeding to your main tank is LEGAL. Gravity feeding into your fuel system/engine is not.
23 gallon circle track tank from Summit, cheap electric fuel pump from Advance Auto, wiring, switch, fuse, ball valve, transmission hose, inline filter, feeds directly into top of the main tank. Total cost, $241, total mileage w/o problems, 35,000, total time used without problems, 25 months. Total times cops and/or inspectors have looked at me sideways, zero.
I have the 91 gallon fuel/toolbox combo from RDS with the switch in the cab to change tanks and it works good. Search RDS Aluminum on DTR there is some good threads on the subject. Cost Tank $429.00 Install Kit $279.00
