Extended Warranties for 5er Stuff

Do you guys have any experience with the extended warranties offered on your trailer parts,ie fride,a/c etc.? Just got the letters in the mail this week about extending my factory warranties another couple years or so past the basic warranty for my a/c and fridge. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Repairing that stuff out of warranty can get REAL expensive.

However, my extended warranty does NOT cover getting access to repair the part. My Happijac slide out mechanism stripped it's gears- $230 job to tear it all apart to repair. Extended Warranty paid $68 total- the price of the gears and the 30 minutes given in their 'book' to change them out.

Check out the terms of the Extended Warranty carefully, including exactly what they will and will NOT cover, and if access to repair is covered.
For instance, my coverage will NOT cover any kind of freeze up damage whatsoever.

We got the extended warranty on our fiver and have it in writing that if we don't use the warranty that we will get our premium back (provided I request it within 6 months of it's expiration! I wonder if my mind will still work then?)
