With the fuel crunch, prices around here are way down right now. If I didn't like my Terry so much, I'd probably be looking for something bigger.

Your new Keystone

Did your new Keystone come with 15" or 16" tires? Mine had 15" tire and I put new 16" wheels & tires on it. I wanted to raise the rear of the camper and did that with the taller tires.

Nice rig, did you really need the airbags? When i hitch up, she doesn't move much. I know 5ers weigh more, just thought you would be OK.

I was looking at a Carri Lite here and the price was 80K!!!

They called last week and said I can have it for 55K! Not selling...fuel prices are to blame since the interest rates are REAL low.

I almost bit. I have had my fill of hotel rooms and having the RV at the events I go to would really make sense for me and a tax deduction to boot. I have been looking at used 34-38ft units and if its 3-5 yrs old theres lots out there. It can make your head swim.

Nice choice on the RV, have fun as I know you will have a great big on your face.

Nice Outfit! Gotta Love the smell of new stuff. You will have lots of fun with it. Me and the wife went on a quick trip last month to Las Vegas May Madness. We paid for a motel for three nights most of the group had trailers in the campground. Camping, (if thats what you want to call it) is a much nicer way to go. I couldnt take another night in the motel so we left at 10:00 pm after only two nights in the motel. We would like to get a trailer, just cant justify one yet. Again...... nice rig.

Very nice!!! We bought an 05 Sprinter 295DBWS this spring that looks about the same as your inside!! Ours is a bumper pull so I can load the quads on the flatbed. We have had pretty good luck with ours so far, one 1000 mile trip and my inlaws stayed in it a couple of weekends while they were down.

I'm not sure I deserve the name calling. I was just pointing out that RV's loose their value extremely fast. I see too many people buying these things and loosing their shirts on resale, trade in, and repairs. If you have an adversion to hotels you could RENT a new RV for less than the depreciation you'll see while it sits in your driveway for a year, and you have a NEW unit (stuff free) each year. I just think they are a huge waste of money (to buy) if you only use it for a few days a year. If you want to throw money away that is your business. IMHO

hilclmr, nice rig!

I was looking at your gallery and noticed that platform on your bed that's carrying the two skimobiles.

What is that? How does it work?

Do you have a link to manufacturer?

Thanks alot,

DT.

It's called a sled deck. Just do a search and you should find a bunch on google. They are really slick, slide right into the back of the truck with a super long ramp that stores inside the deck. A few guys I know have them. It was the reason I got a truck with a flatbed

Nice unit, I'm sure we'll see each other on the road at some point. We've got our Outback at Lac La Nonne right now and enjoying it tremendously!
