A/C on to cool engine??

Well, I had a brand new 92 CTD way back when and it was called Dodgezilla. I even had it painted on the bugshield.
I'd say I'm the real Dodgezilla!!!!

Mine has only gotten warm enough to kick the fan on a couple of times. It has to get pretty hot for that to happen too. I definitely believe they should lower the temp at which it engages but in the meantime turning the AC works for me...

I run a 180 stat and even sitting in traffic in 100+ temps this summer my temps stayed at or below 180 degrees... Of course, once the daytime temps start averaging below 70 degrees it never warms up fully no matter how far I drive....

I don't know what to do. I put in a new fan clutch and 180 t-stat end of last summer. Truck never got hot enough to engage the fan until recently and no dice. how do you cypher whats not working. Any suggestions ?
