Brakesmart & Hidden Hitch install

Any lessons learned or "good" ideas to help with the installation of either of these products? Upcoming weekend workshop has the installation of both for use with a SilverStar horse trailer. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Just read those directions real good on the adapter plates as to where to drill the frame. It will place the hitch right about over the axles on the long bed. You will like your Hidden Hitch, especially you will like the other goodies you can buy with the money left over from the cost the "other" hitch.

Now, as to the Brakesmart, too bad. Should have bought a Jordan. (shhhh, just trying to get one up on Casey and the little guy, Scotty)

Bobs biggest reason to reply was Brake controller Envy. I apologize for his loss of control and lack of fore-sight.

You will find the Brakesmart to be very easy to install. With a couple of pauses for discussion, I had it in in less then 1.5 hours. I could do it faster with no breaks. I had to educate the Fiverbobs of the shop during the installation.

It is really a very straight forward install.

Scotty

in edit: The toughest part for me was to locate the factory plug for the controller. It was pushed up in behind some other wiring close to the firewall.

Than that Voyager I have now. Every time a traffic light turns red & some little rice burner cuts in front of me to be first in line I get the pucker factor. The delay on that controller no matter how i adjust it leaves little to be desired.
