My current company truck is a 2015 f350 crew cab, 4wd, flat bed with bet boxes top and bottom, and a 100gal fuel tank. i have a set of nitto 265/70 17 trail grapplers on it now. im at 18000mi and almost slick. ive kept them at max psi, and rotated at every 3-4k miles. i do pull a 26' gooseneck that weighs right at 15,500 and some change when fully loaded. soooo i know mud tires dont get good mileage, but wondered if any of yall had any experience with these nittos or other brands. all ive seen is people on different tire sites saying their gettin 40k and they pull "heavy". i also haul hay about 4 times year and haul a jd backhoe from time to time. any suggestions?

Why do you need "mud" tires? A lot of tire issues come from driving style, road conditions, geographical location, frequency of use (heat cycling) etc.

A 15' F350 crew is a heavy rig to start with, then 800 lbs of fuel and everything in those boxes, the back seat and the bed is gettin heavy on four tires, even worse on wider tires with a bigger footprint, add a trailer= lots of stress at acceleration and braking.

18,000 on the stock tires wasn't very good, guys out here love the Toyo MT but complain about the mileage. They seem to go furthest on the Toyotas for some reason...

I had the best mileage out of the original Michelins on my truck, went almost to 65K before I got new tires. Been running the Toyo AT, they are good in snow.

I guess my deal with mud tires is all the miles you put on them in not mud, but if you need them to get there, you gotta pay up...

If you want the actual Best it is going to be made by Michelin or BF Goodrich. Unfortunately load range E mud tires will not be the best for off-road use but you need them.

If you need something for occasional mud then don't rule out tire chains, no mud tire will give you what a high quality tire chain can give, just don't spin the wheels.
