Bias ply or radials on 5ver--Are bias ply ok?

Bias ply or radials on 5ver--Are bias ply ok?
My 5ver has almost new 7.00 bias ply tires on it and I'm concerned about safety and blowouts.
It seems there's just as many blowouts with radials. My camper weighs around 10,000 lbs (35', W/D, solid oak, tile, generator, etc) and the tires are D range 8160 lbs max. Subtract the pin weight 1500-2000lbs puts me close to the max.
I don't plan on trips over 300 miles right now.
Has anybody used bias ply tires on there 5ver?
