Back-up camera and blinker help

I added back-up cameras to my 38' fifth wheel, on in the back and one on each side. The back camera comes on with the back-up light no problem. The side cameras can automaticly come on with the blinkers, but they need a constant 12v power to trigger them when the blinker comes on. Well to my surprise their isn't even a flasher relay on the new trucks and no way to grad 12v power before the blinker, gotta love computer controls.

So is their any sort of converter that I I can put on the blinker wire that will put out steady 12v when the blinker is blinking. I know it is posible to build such an animal but I am not sure how.

That is a great idea, hadn't thought of using a capacitor to hold the relay open between blinks. Shouldn't take much of one as the trigger for the camera doesn't take much juice to run. Might have to try out some different sizes.

Actually I wouldn't even need the relay come to think of it. Just a one way diode and a capacitor between the blinker wire and the camera trigger, getting easier all the time.
