Can not get my 6 pin trailer to work on 05 duely. I have marker lights(no tail) but no turn sig. If I turn off tail lights I have turn sig. Works on 95 ford and 92 dodge. what am I missing. Have good cord ground and have used separate hard ground.

Sounds like the TIPM needs to be reset. Unfortunately, only the dealer can, unless you know someone with a start scan tool.

Hey carl48 whats this isolation box your talking about. Replaced my tipm a few months ago, and if this helps from loosing another I'm all for it.

 

I installed one of these "Modulite HD power circuits" using the $10 wiring kit at this link:

Haven't had any problems with any of the three trailers I tow after I installed it. Basically it sends a stronger signal to your trailer lights.

 

I did the Modulite mod too. It is a shame the dealers want hundreds of dollars to fix something that is so cheap, good, and the way the factory should have done it. Mine is working fine.

When they start building stuff that is reliable, simple, economical, and easy to fix, I will feel America is starting to make a comeback.
