2500 SRW to DRW Conversion

I am interested to find out if anyone on this forum has converted a factory SRW Dodge Deisel to DRW. If so, how is it working? Any problems?
I can't aford a new truck right now and I have a 1999 Dodge Diesel 2500 4X4 with heavy duty Camper Special suspension that I would like to convert from SRW to DRW. I pull a 4 horse trailer with small living quarters and need the additional stability that DRW provides?
I would appreciate any info, suggestions, thoughts, or concerns about this conversion including. Also any suggestions on where to get the parts and what is required to make this conversion.
Thanks ???
Look in the back of the western horseman mag i remember seeing ads for the conversion kits. I think the company is called arrow not sure. The 3500 4x4 have an adapter hub on them for the dually rim. The rear axle on the 2500 and the 3500 are both dana 80,s i think the lugs should be the same length. Get 2 dually rims and put them on and see. I have seen several converted trucks and they seem to work ok. They used to do it to 250 ford supercabs before they came out with a 350.

Hello hay I used this arrowcraft conv. on a chevy crew cab. I got everything I needed from them , fenders , wheels, lights for no the fenders all the stuff needed an it worked out real well. I thought they were a good company to deal with an the fenders fit the body very good an much cheaper than factory fenders, but look the same.
Bob

Measure your rear spring width. If it's the same as a dually I'll bet you could pick up a DRW axle and bed at a junkyard cheap if you trade your bed and axle in. Just make sure to get a axle with the same gear ratio. I'd bet the drive line would match up also. I've also seen dually beds going cheap around here from people putting utlility boxes on. You will also need a dually hubs for the front unless you want to carry two spares since the rims are different. Just some ideas.

In the front end the springs are different. Everything else looks like it is the same part number for both 2500 & 3500 4x4. The front wheel adapter PN is 5015234AA and is $133 at the dealer I called. In the rear the leaf springs are different but the overload springs are the same.

I would like to know if the adapter from the front would fit on the rear end. Is the hole in the center is big enough to slide over the hub?
