I find it very interesting that I have been slapped on the hand before for posting a BAD word by accident and others have also for posting links to improper content etc..

Before talking smack in the forum on things you DON'T know about, you might try to gather some facts and send a pm to an administrator. Instead, you use it as an opportunity to bring up something that had nothing to do with the ad. For one, I don't know about your situation but as soon as I saw your post, before I even read it, I knew that it HAD to come from a user who had gotten in trouble and decided to whine about this. I knew it as soon as I saw the subject line.

The ads that come up through the Google system are automatic. That means we have no way to decide which ones come up and which ones don't ahead of time. That also means that sometimes an ad might pop up like this. Long before you posted this, I put the ad on the blacklist (which can only occur AFTER one of these ads pops up). It'll take anywhere from 4 hours to a day before the ad goes away.

So, in closing:

1. I'm way ahead of you
2. Take your medicine like a man. You broke the rules, and you were called out on it.
3. This is the first time since we implemented Google ads that we have gotten a complaint on an ad like this.

Like I said, the ad will be gone sometime tonight or tomorrow.

I made a mistake ONCE and I can be a man and understand this is something beyond your control until it happens. I guess some people think the internet should be perfect and things like this never happen.

 

Just the opposite actually, we know people will make mistakes just as we do, how they deal with it is the true measure of a man. 99% of the guys around here make a mistake, and simply say oops and move on when it is pointed out to them.

1% spend the rest of their time here upset because they refuse to take responsibility for their actions and want to blame everyone else for their mistakes.
