Violation of Forum Rules?

Forum Rules
"You agree, through your use of the DieselTruckResource.Com forum, that you will not post any material .......in violation of ANY law."
Sorry if I sound like a "Grinch" but doesn't this rule apply to aiding in breaking laws? Specifically - How to make lots of Smoke?
Seems like every 6 months or so....newer young members get into this topic on the forums. It just won't die a natural death!
I'm not big on regulations but for the sake of our "sport", might the administrators consider the value of blocking these threads? Out of sight....maybe out of mind. :)

I support the Grinch....I mean smoke blocking.

nelrod Dec 31, 2006 11:27 AM

That nasty soot gets in your pulmonary vasculature and refuses to leave. BTW causes deaths too. New report in British medical journal.

nelrod Dec 31, 2006 11:28 AM

Oh BTW Clunk, that is a very handsome picture of you.

Information is information. It is ultimately that persons responsibility to use the information in a positive way. If they don't find the info here they will get it somewhere else. BTW, nice avaitar.[coffee]

Thought someone would throw that in :)
You will note that is off road and on private property.... with only DTR spectators. FWIW

I was VERY reluctant to post my suggestion, but the message that "times are a-changing" just does not seem to get through to some. When someone brings up the fact that big smoke in public is no longer cool, they seem to get sarcastic comments or outright flamed. More now that a year or two ago??

yea and to add to that kinda off topic we cant even say "hey thats a badEdit truck i got a violation for saying that??kinda too much??i think we are all grown up enough to say some words geez

We do NOT allow profanity on this forum. We would like to think you are grown up enough to be able to post here without using profanity.

TheBigNasty Dec 31, 2006 12:36 PM

Come to think of it, it reminds me of Tyler's truck trying to do anything.[coffee]

TheBigNasty Dec 31, 2006 12:54 PM

Somebody else post something! It is sad and ironic that you see "Violation of forum rules" and my name under it.[laugh]

gerry Dec 31, 2006 12:56 PM

It you really want to get Letter of the Law... 99% of the modifications we do are illegal either by state or federal law..

And YES even Lifts.. larger tires... all change the handleing of the truck and are illegal. (thats why you will find a note inside "not of on road use"

headlight, tail light mods... can't do that either,,

Boxes, downloaders, plates, injectors, airboxes, bahf, turbos..

But hey.. transmission mods are OK.. (I think)..

So we should block any topic that you do not agree with then? Kinda self important dont you think? This is an open exchange of ideas and information, and reading all the posts is not required. So stick to the ones you like and let everyone enjoy the site.

The rules on this site are here for a reason and they have been around since day one. In addition, you agreed to abide by them when you came here. If you didn't read the rules, then I suggest you do so. If this is something you're going to have a continuing problem with, then I suggest finding another site to frequent.

bigdattydiesel Dec 31, 2006 02:00 PM

i will find another site thank you!
