Out of curiousity did you get an infraction piont when they deleted the add? I got one a few days ago for "advertising" but oh well, what does an infraction piont even do?

That's a good question. The scale below outlines the way the infraction points effect you during your membership at DTR. The infraction system is just a tool that allows all the admins to know what a particular member has been doing. A couple more things to remember. The infractions issued to a member are confidential! The admins know and you know, that's it, nobody else. If you ever have a question about what's allowed, check the privacy statement that's at the bottom of almost every page on the forum. It contains a copy of the forum rules. If you don't find the answer there, pm an administrator and ask. We're here to help you. Warnings carry no points so they don't go against you but, if you received a warning for something please take it seriously and change the way you post. Everybody here has questions and everybody here has knowledge. Ask your questions and share your knowledge, that's why we're all here anyway.


Here are the point scales:

10 points = 7 day (1 week) Mute (you can read the forums, but you cannot post)
15 points = 21 day (3 week) Mute
20 points = Permanently Banned

Well, for every year you are on the site you get one big screwup with no consequences...

Thanks for the kind words on the wings. My Mom came up with the original recipe which only had three ingredients and you made them in the oven. I started tweaking it and 15 years later there are about 7 ingredients and now, of course, they are made on the grill.

I may have to get one of those DTR chef's aprons......
