Quickest Way to See My Posts

Let me start out by saying that I love this site. I can't begin to tell you how much I have learned by being a member here. However, there is one thing that really frustrates me. I have been unable to find a quick and easy way to see all of my own posts. The only way I have figured out how to do this is to go to one of my own posts, click on my name and then click on "Find all posts by randallp84." It seems like this should be a very basic feature that should be easily found under User CP. Am I missing something? This would come in very handy if you have your default thread subscription set to "Do not subscribe" and you post a message and you later change your mind and choose to subscribe to that thread.

Go to search, advanced search, on the right side, it says 'search by user name', type in your name and hit go. You can either search for all your posts, or the threads that you started.

HTH...

click on your user name in the who's online section at the bottom of the main forum page......... this brings up your profile....... left side of page, below your name/ avatar is a link to find all posts by (username).... I have that view user profile page saved in favorites, that way when I log on, it brings me there and I can click to see any additional posts, or go to new, or go to forums,,,,,,,, quite handy.

Ok, obviously there are several ways to do it but I suggest including a link in the User CP. It just seems intuitive to me that there should be a link there so that you can quickly and easily see all your posts. Just a suggestion, probably not enough demand for it.

I realize that. That's the way I usually do it. I said that in my first post.

I know what he wants, I have seen it on other websites. I'll ask the boss.

Thanks madhat. I'm not trying to make a mountain out of a molehill here. I realize that it would probably be a lot of trouble to incorporate something like this so my feelings won't be hurt if it doesn't happen.

Currently, in the forum view, you can hover your pointer over any of the envelopes on the extreme left of the page and it will show if you have posted in the thread.

Hey, man, we're here for the members. Without you, there would be no DTR.

I would love to see this. I've always loved the "my posts" and "my threads" links on forums like thedieselgarage.
