Question on Diesel

On what forum would I post a question about converting a '68 Ford pickup to a 2003 Cummins?

For now, you can post it in the "General Diesel" forum. I have been asked about adding a conversion forum in the past but haven't done it yet. I have seriously been considering it. You should be able to find your answers in General Diesel for now.

Not disagreeing or contradicting Jack at all but I have also seen questions related to the motor or drivetrain posted in the appropriate motor or drivetrain forum regardless of body {i.e. 1st gen drive train in a Ford posted in the 1st gen forum}. For conversion-specific issues, you might also check at http://www.cummins-conversion.com/phpBB/index.php I am not affiliated w/ cummins-conversion.com in any way other than being a member.

Thanks for the info. One of the things I'm trying to nail down is which generation to use, so I'll post in General Diesel.

I looked into this a bit for my '77F150. If your '68 if not a 1 ton or heavier your front suspension and frame are likely to crush under the weight of a 1200+lb diesel, not to mention the associated transmission.
