Guys it is great that you added this feature a while back, but I have been thinking it could put a lot of un needed load on the server. Solution : setting default results to the most recent 25 posts, with drop down choices for 50, 100, or all. Each time I use the feature I get back my 3447 results, thats gotta be tougher on the load than just the 25 most recent. Most of the time I, and most likely others, are not looking for all of their posts, just he ones that we have posted in recntly. thanks guys, ya do great work.

 

I feel ya... maybe we could add an option that allows you to choose how many you want to look for... cause sometimes I have to reference an old thread.

 

That's why I never push that button. The whole site would grind to a halt.

 

Ah, it does not pull up all of your posts... it has a limit. 500 or so...

 

So it goes back about a month...

 

Or in YOUR case ....24 hours.

well as long as the server is comfortable, thats what is important.
