my past posted threads
looks like I just realized I can only have 500 at any given time of my old threads in a archive. so if 500 is the ammount can i go and delete certain ones to keep ones I want or do they automatically delete due to the date of posting.
thanks I hope that made sense

No you can't delete old posts because it messes up the search engine, think about it like this..... You make a post and then Joe and Bob both reply to your post, now they are in a way permanently linked together.
If we remove your post then we have 2 posts that the search engine sees but can't make heads or tails of because they don't fit the subject matter any more...
Make sense?
Your posts are not deleting (unless we lost some in a server move) most likely you are just not seeing them as currently the search engine is limited to showing you your 500 newest posts. This takes a good deal of the strain off the server when people are doing a search on your posts.

If it let everyone bring up all their old posts, a person like me could tie up the server for days...
If you want to find posts older than your last 500, think of a key word that would be in the post you are looking for. Then use the advanced search to search for that term only in threads posted by you.
