Member Status Question

OK, so I was cruising the site and in an unnamed forum, reading an unnamed thread, when I noticed the original creator of the thread was now listed as a guest.
Does this mean that user got booted from this site, or is otherwise no longer a member?

Thanks,
Chris

Re:Member Status Question

Yes,
The status of "Guest" means that the member has chosen to no longer be a part of the site.

Re:Member Status Question

There is another way this can happen.
If I were to go into my profile and use the "Delete" option to delete myself as a member, then all of my past posts will show as "Guest"
I have noticed this happen before when a member wanted to change his/her sign on name.
That member deleted the previous member name and registerd a new member name.
However, all of that persons previous posts got tagged with "Guest" after that.

Rich.

Re:Member Status Question

Not a good thing to do, it can also mess up the search engine.

If you absolutely have to have a new name, let me know I will change it for you. How does sally strike ya? ;D
