Kind of interesting that the URL is "BikerBuzz" and they're trying to start an All Dodge site. [undecided]

However, I wish them nothing but the best!
After all, that is how Jack started this site way back when.
8)

Rich

Re:All Dodge site?
That's correct. For now, it's really not a site. Just a page on my site. If there is sufficient interest, I'll get it's own domain (dot com). It's just an idea and perhaps a way to cater to Dodge owners...exclusively. ;D

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Re:All Dodge site?
You say that "there seems to be a need" for something like this. Personally I have not seen the need so am curious as to how you arrive at this conclusion. What are your statistics to back up your claim?

Well, were are your "no need" stats then? ;D I think Buzz's evidence may have arisen from the number of people who express dismay in the direction DTR has chosen to take.

Re:All Dodge site?
Bingo! Commatoze hit the proverbial nail on the head. If nothing else, this will prove to provide some stimulating exchanges here on the old Dodge board...or should I say, "The Dodge, Ford and Chevy board?"
Personally, like I've stated in the past, this is an xlnt resource. I chose my model truck based on the information I gathered here...invaluable, KUDOS to the DTR staff!

Only time will tell. Either way....for the time being I'm gonna stick around and have some fun. ;D

"if some people leave. It's no skin off my back....I guess people think that it really bothers me that some people are upset. To the contrary. I'm not bothered by it at all..."

HMMmmm - perhaps I'm being a bit over-sensitive, but the overall tone of that complete post is somewhat chilling to me as an active member and contributor here...
This - or any OTHER Internet board is no more important than it's USERS - without those members, like a newspaper without readers or news to print, they would DIE!
I freely admit the importance of THIS board as a meeting place to exchange information and experiences related to our trucks - and I consider myself - and those like me - to be a valuable resource to the continued SUCCESS of this board - and reading stuff like the above sorta makes me suspect that OUR contributions - AND viewpoints are considered to be of little value or importance to this board.
Maybe the above needs to be rethought or reworded?
Otherwise. it comes off as indifferent, arrogant and insensitive to the opinions, views and preferences of the MANY who all made contributions to enable this board to be what it is today - I'll absolutely flat-out guarantee you it wasn't purely the presence of the Administrator or moderators ALONE that made this board happen - it was the helpful participation of ALL the regular contributors that did that - and THEIR viewpoint IS of value, whether the upper management chooses to acknowledge that fact or NOT!
The lead comments above remind me of a couple who have been going steady - and ONE of them tells the other, "I've decided *I* am going to start seeing other partners on dates - I really don't care WHAT *you* think about it - in fact, if you want to leave, that's entirely OK with me, I don't need you anyway..."
I think any sensible suitor would instantly make a quick decision as to where they stood in the view of the other, and act accordingly... Is that what WE existing members are being told - we're not of enough particular importance that OUR views or opinions are needed or wanted - that if we leave, we sure won't be missed?

Sure SOUNDS that way...
IF, at ANY time, Administrators or moderators figure MY presence and contributions here are of so little value, they REALLY don't care if I go or stay, they will have already made MY decision for me!
*I* value this board and the other members here, AS WELL AS their individual opinions on a wide array of subjects - and I propose that the folks who run this board MIGHT just place a little more value upon the feelings and wishes of those who helped MAKE this board the success it is today as well...
We're all in this together... ;D ;D ;D

Re:All Dodge site?
I sorta have mixed feelings about this "change" also. Kinda like trying to please everyone, and down the road it will become generic and full of brand wars. Some things I see as poorly done. No notification to the users (the people who make this work) and little chicken crap things like the new logo listing Duramax first. Sorta a kick in the groin to us who try to contribute to the site. I know I know Jack if I don't like it take a hike. Mebbe I will, who knows. Wait and see approach for me now. Don't drive a Ford anymore so don't give a about them either. If I do buy one in a few years when this Dodge is finished then I will join the Ford boards again. At that point I won't give a crap about the Dodge trucks. Time will tell. For now put me down as undecided. Oh wait nevermind you don't care..... :
